The family of a 10-year-old girl was shocked when they realized that the MP3 Video Player the girl received for Christmas was preloaded with explicit songs and pornographic movie clips.

The girl was very much thrilled when she found out that Santa left an MP3 player under their Christmas tree. The parents who acted Santa bought the said MP3 player from Wal-mart store in Sparta, Tennessee.

It was later on discovered that the said MP3 Player was returned to the store from another customer who loaded the portable media player with pornographic videos and explicit songs.

The manager at the Sparta Wal-mart refused to give a comment on the matter. The family would be keeping the MP3 player until they talk to a lawyer. The family previously declined the offer of Wal-mart to replace the said MP3 player.

Apple, the computer and gadget maker will be allowing its customer to rent movies from 20th Century Fox on its iTunes Digital Media Store starting mid-January 2008. This was according to a report published in the Financial Times earlier this week.

Apple isn’t the first company to offer digital video rentals. Amazon allows the rental of movies to users of PC and TiVo through is Unbox service. And even Microsoft allows digital media rental on its Microsoft Xbox 360 Game Console.

Apple iTunes Digital Media Store offers video content since 2005. What do you think of these digital video rentals? Will you patronize it when it becomes available to the public?

Listening too much to loud music can contribute to hearing loss, right? I could vividly remember that every time I take the train (uhm, LRT or MRT), I would always see people traveling with their earphones on. This is fine with me but the thing is, you could actually hear what the person is listening to because of the very loud music. Can’t we be gentle to our ears and lower down the volume of our portable media player? Thank God for Christine Ingemi who invented the iHearSafe Earphones.

The iHearSafe Earphones may look like your typical earphones but it is not.

The iHearSafe Earphones was designed to keep the volume of your portable media device at a safe level that it would not damaged your ears. It can be used with any portable media devices or any other electronic device that has the earphone slot. You don’t have to worry about hurting your ears with iHearSafe for regardless of how high you set the volume of a certain audio device, iHearSafe prevents it from exceeding the safe audio level that the researchers have identified.

This earphone is great for those who always listen and carry around their portable media players for this invention would definitely reduce the risk of hearing loss.

This catalog includes the work of Led Zeppelin, Aretha Franklin and Sean Paul. This will result to the raise of available mp3s on the Amazon Digital Music to 2.9 million.

It was previously known that Warner Music had resisted selling songs by its artists in the MP3 Format, which can be copied to computers, compact discs, digital media players like the Apple iPod and the Microsoft Zune.

The Universal Music Group, EMI Music Group PLC together with thousands of independent music labels previously signed to sell huge portions of their catalog on the Amazon Digital Music Store.

Most of the songs being sold on the Amazon Digital Music Store are priced from 89 cents to 99 cents while most albums / music compilations are sold from $5.99 to $9.99.
