The 2008 Miss Universe comes to Vietnam for a night of stars and glamour in search of the most beautiful woman in the world! The winner for Best National Costume will be decided by online votes. So now, the main objective of this tag is to increase awareness for all Filipinos regarding the online voting. Let’s VOTE for our very unique Philippine National Costume worn by our representative, Jennifer Barrientos.

General Instructions:

  1. Go to THIS LINK!
  2. In the Menu Bar just above the thumbnail pictures of the delegates, click ASIA/AUSTRALIA.
  3. Look for the Philippines’ Costume (like the picture above & it’s actually in the page 2).
  4. Click its thumbnail.
  5. After clicking, a preview will then appear on the right side of the page. Click “SELECT THIS DELEGATE” located just below that preview.
  6. The bad things is, we are to choose 3 delegates! So be sure NOT to vote for those countries that will surely be a strong competitor for the AWARD! :)
  7. After choosing the Philippines and the “other” two countries, click on “SUBMIT VOTE” located just below the thumbnail pictures.
  8. Follow the SIMPLE instructions after that!
  9. You’re done! Go Philippines!

  2. Pinoy Idol Podcast – If you miss BrinkNotes Podcast, you might want to listen first to the podcast series I made dedicated to GMA 7’s Pinoy Idol. BrinkNotes Podcast is now on hiatus to give way to my new podcast show, Pinoy Idol Podcast.
  3. BrinkNotes Podcast – BrinkNotes Podcast is only hiatus and I will be posting updates every now and then. I’m planning to clean and update the BrinkNotes podcast website in the coming days. Since, I’ve got two shows now, and I think it would be three if another interesting topic would cross my mind, I’m planning to make www.brinknotespodcast.com as an aggregator site of all my podcasts – except for Jeric’s Confessions. I won’t dare repost those embarrassing podcasts!

We also prepared for the celebration of the Oblates Day. This was the day I knew that I passed the entrance examination of De La Salle-College of St. Benilde.

February 19, 2008, Tuesday – I was absent this day for I was suffering from Gastritis. I also got my dental chec-up this day. My teeth are getting yellow and I think I need the help of Boca Raton cosmetic dentists.

February 20, 2008, Wednesday – I helped my friend, Paolo to administer their thesis questionnaire. We literally ran after each respondent to retrieve the survey forms distributed. Our adviser let us watched the film, “Tuesdays with Morrie”.

February 21, 2008, Thursday – I was again excused the whole day from my classes because of two things. First, I joined a CMLI Contest on Web Page Designing at Angelicum College together with Pie and second, to prepare for the Juniors – Seniors Promenade. The Awarding Ceremonies of the contest would take place on Monday. Patricia and I crammed our thesis all night to meet the deadline. Luckily, we were able to finish it!

February 22, 2008, Friday – For the third time this week, I was excused from my classes once again but I still chose to stay for I was missing a lot of lessons and class works.
