I am Adrian Jeric G. Peña but the Internet knows me as simply Jeric Peña. People would usually call me Jeric (or Jerry for some). I’m 17 years old and turns a year older every June 2. I am from the capital of the Philippines – Manila. I have two siblings namely Dianne and Roxanne.
As a Student
I finished Nursery 1 and Nursery 2 at Infant Jesus Learning Center, which is now known as In Jesus’ Care Learning Center from the years 1994 to 1996. My Kindergarten and Elementary years were spent in Notre Dame of Greater Manila from the years 1996 to 2004. I just graduated from High School last March 2008 still at Notre Dame of Greater Manila. I am a first year college student at the University of the Philippines, Open University and taking up Associate in Arts leading to Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Studies. In case you don’t know, UP Open University is still a part of the UP System, which was established in 1995. I am also enrolled at the University of the Philippines, Diliman as a non-degree student.
As a Blogger
I started blogging way back 2003. Before, I was manually updating a website that acts as my online journal. I’ve maintained a lot of paid and free-hosted blogs in the past until I finally settled here. My first domain is adrianjeric.com that has expired a couple of years ago. Today, I still maintain a couple of blogs under my own hosting company, BrinkNotes. I use WordPress in almost all the blogs that I maintained and I’m happy with it. Currently, I write for the following blogs: Distance Education in the Philippines, Just Jeric, Kim Chiu, So Sick of Taxi, and Toni Gonzaga.
As a Podcaster
Aside from blogging, I also indulged myself into podcasting. I started podcasting in 2005 with Jeric’s Confession as my first show. Podcasting is like hosting your own talk show that is distributed over the Internet. After Jeric’s Confessions, BrinkNotes Podcast came with almost the same format as Jeric’s Confession but this time it is better. The first season of BrinkNotes podcast ended last May 2006. The same podcast resumed on May 2007 for its second season. Currently, BrinkNotes Podcast is on hiatus to give way to my new podcast, Pinoy Idol Podcast that is obviously dedicated to the Philippine franchise of the Idol series.
As a Video Blogger
I started video blogging last April 2007 but my vlog (short for video blog) didn’t grow that big. My vlog is called, “Jeric On The Tube” and has the tag line, “His boring life… now captured on video.” My video blog is about anything that interests me. My episodes often tackles about the blogger events that I have attended in the past.
As a Web Designer and Graphic Artist
Aside from school and online stuff, I keep myself busy with freelance works. Yes, I’m a freelance web designer and Graphic Artist. I have created numerous websites already and most of which are fan websites for Philippine Idol, Toni Gonzaga, Sam Milby, and Zanjoe Marudo. Aside from web designing, I also do graphics design for print, video and web. I didn’t take any formal course related to web and graphics designing. I know how to code in HTML and a little of PHP. I also know a little Macromedia (Adobe now) Flash ActionScript. I also know how to edit videos and audio using Adobe Audition and Sony Vegas. It was CoolEdit Pro and Sonic Foundry then.

@heather: Depende pa rin kung anong UPG (University Predicted Grade) mo. Kasi kung hindi pwede ang UPG you need to take another assessment test which called Undergraduate Assessment Test (UgAT).
