Another Shocker: Penelope Matanguihan now out of Pinoy Idol

In fact, I’m rooting for her to become the next (or the first) Pinoy Idol. But sadly, she ended her Pinoy Idol journey tonight. Warren Antig joined her in the bottom two.
I believe that Warren Antig should have left the competition earlier. Warren’s supporters are not that visible in the Internet anymore. During the early stage of the competition, a lot of Warren’s supporters are visible in forums talking about Pinoy Idol.
I’m sorry but I really don’t have a thing for rock and rockers. I just can’t appreciate those kind of music. You can agree and disagree with me. But I think, Penelope deserves to stay in the competition longer. Sadly, she didn’t have enough number of votes to make her stay in the competition
If I heard it right, Basil Valdez would be the finalist’s mentor next week. The Top Six Finalists are Jay-Ann Bautista, Warren Antig, Daryl Celis, Kid Camaya, Ram Chaves and Gretchen Espina.

Im huge fan of Warren antig, and I choose not to be visible, coz my instinct knew, that there’s no need to be loud or show off in order to support my idol. i do believe that the voters got it right again, coz based on tonites performance warren did not give a new version of the song; although he sang it as possibly as he can, even he is not so familiar with the song,,, it is proven that there are no safe zone to any of the idols anymore i like them all, but still want to see Warren to stay until atleast on top 3…. good luck to warren.. best wishes inthe future Penelope
i’m a PDA fan pero i also watch PI gala performances…
pa-ubos na ang magagaling sa PI… natanggal agad si Mae, sumunod si robbie at ngayon si penelope… i won’t be surprised kung sumunod na si jayann…
parang mas fair ang pagtanggal sa PDA kasi yung mahihinang performances lang ang nai-eliminate… mas masasabi mong ‘talent competition’ talaga ang pda at hindi lang ‘popularity contest’…

I was so disappointed tonight. After watching the show for so long, this was my biggest disappointment so far and I don’t know if I will watch it again even though I’m a loyal kapuso viewer. To tell you the truth, I was disappointed when Mae and Robby was out for I know they’re better than the other singers who are still there like Warren, Gretchen and Daryl but its so unfortunate that they were ousted that early. But this one was so disappointing.

hindi pa siguro angkop sa philippine setting ang format ng “idol”… mas maganda pa ang format ng Pinoy Pop Superstar… masasabi mong talent competition talaga…
ang PI kasi, purely money at popularity contest nalang… parang “Most Popular Matron” sa mga pyesta, bugbugan ng pera… hehehe…

Di nio napapansin guys? Tingnan niong maigi ang logo ng PinoyIdol..dba merung curve dun sa ilalim na para bang malungkot pag npansin nio?yan!
