7:53AM: Welcome to BrinkNotes.ORG’s LIVE BLOG COVERAGE of the American Idol Season Finale. Tonight, I’ll be bringing you the 2-hour finale of American Idol by providing you with photos, videos and audio clips from the show. Please stay tune and don’t forget to refresh for fresh content! 8:00AM: And the show is on! YEHEY!!! It’s LIVE! The lights are on. David Archuleta and David Cook in White and standing face-to-face. The camera is rotating around them. THIS IS THE AMERICAN IDOL SEASON FINALE! Roll the famous American Idol Opening Billboard!

Ryan (Not verbatim): We have made it! Tonight is the final results show. 97.5 millions came in just for the finale! There was a 23 million increase in votes as compared to last year. One David got 56% of the votes while the other only got 44%. (The difference is quite big, huh?)

Judges are now being introduced. Randy is boo-ing Simon Cowell.

Live shots from the hometown of the two Davids are being shown. The fans are going wild!

The stars of So You Thing You Can Dance is doing the opening number with the Top 12 of Season 7. They are all in white. They are singing “Get Ready” with some dance steps of course!

8:10AM: The show is back. The two Davids are now singing “Hero” by Chad Kroeger/Josey Scott. Their families are being shown too.

A video promo of “Love Guru” is currently being shown. The two Davids are seeing the movie first with the Guru itself. Guru Pitka is addicted to Guitar Hero? Guru Pitka is trying to shave David C’s facial hair. And he is on the show on his magic carpet, I suppose.

Guru Pitka (to Randy): You are my dog!
Guru Pitka (to Paula): I love you!
Guru Pitka (to Simon): I love you even more!

The guru calls Ryan Seacrest “Mr. Seafoam” and predicts the winner will be a U.S. citizen, and will have the name “David” Ryan Seacrest is riding the magic carpet!

Syesha Mercado is with Seal singing “Waiting For You”. As always, Paula is stood up during the performance. And there goes the break!

8:25AM: The show is back with Jason Castro as he sings”Hallelujah” wearing blue shirt and jeans. He is sitting on a stool and eventually walks on the stage.

A montage of the Ford Commercials are shown with the song, “Let the Good Times Roll”.

Ryan is standing with David A and David C. The David A and David C gets new car. Ryan A gave them the keys and asks if David A gota license already.

Singing Donna Summers hits is the Top 6 Ladies of Season 7. They are all in red. Donna Summers is on the show with the girls.

The camera is quite wild. I can get a good screen capture. BREAK.

8:39AM: The show is the back with Carly Smithson and Michael Johns singing “The Letter”. They are both in black. Before their number, Ryan talked about the “shock” departures.

Jimmy Kimmel does the the recap of the whole season. This recap is funny! REALLY FUNNY!

The Top 6 Guys takes the stage now with the song “Summer of 69″.

The Final 2 are introduced. The two Davids sang “Heaven”

Bryan Adams comes out the stage.

There goes the break! We are on the second half of the show.

8:56AM: We are back with David Cook and ZZ Top with the song “Sharp Dressed Man”. As always, Paula is up and dancing. Before the number, there was a video shown with Jordin Sparks on it about Walt Disney World “American Idol Experience”.

Ryan introduces Mikalah Gordon in David Cook’s hometown. Ms. Gentry, David Cook’s Music Teacher is being interviewed.

Brooke White is up with Graham Nash singing “Teach Your Children”.

BREAK

9:06AM: The show is back! The audience have gone crazy because Jonas Brothers is up on the stage singing “S.O.S”

A video montage of the worse and funny auditions are being shown. Renaldo Lapuz!

Renaldo Lapuz comes out of the stage! He’s singing “I am Your Brother” on his audition costume complete with the accompaniment of a marching band and a cheering squad. Paula comes up the stage dancing!

BREAK

9:17AM: BACK! One Republic is performing the song “Apologize”. I failed to record the performance (I was in panic). And apparently, David Archuleta is singing with One Republic.

David Archuleta is with Ryan Seacrest and shows the live feed from Utah.

David Archuleta’s grandfather is being interviewed.

Jordin Sparks is on the stage performing “One Step At A Time”.
