7:35AM: According to TMZ.com, there were nearly 100 million votes cast last night. On the other hand, DialIdol.com is predicting that David Cook will win this year’s American Idol. We will confirm those reports in a matter of few minutes. Stay tune to our live blog coverage! I’ll be start a new blog post for the “Show Updates” by 7:55AM.

7:38AM: Please keep in mind that DialIdol.com only measures the busy tones on each contestant’s phone line/s. This means that DialIdol doesn’t have the capabilities to track or measure the votes sent thru text messages which could make a big difference on tonight’s result if more Archuleta fans preferred to vote thru text messaging. 7:42AM: On tonight’s show, we would be expecting tons of performers like the Season 7 Top 12, Bo Bice, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, Jordin Sparks and a whole lot more. Expect a 2-hour show filled of performances from the hottest celebrities in town! We’re just few minutes away from the show! Are you excited? I am! VERY MUCH!
