UPCAT 2008 RESULTS

UPCAT 2008 Results now AVAILABLE!

Everyone at our school is talking about the release of the UPCAT 2008 Results. The University of the Philippines College Admission Test 2008 (UPCAT 2008 RESULTS) Results is now available. The list of passers was posted on the Office of the University Registrar at UP Diliman. For those who can’t drop by the UP Diliman Campus to check out the list, go check out this Multiply site which has the full result of the UPCAT 2008. The official UPCAT website is inaccessible at the moment but you could still check it out here (just refresh, refresh and refresh until you lose your patience).

It seems that a lot of people are interested with Chemistry and wants to experiment with different medical equipment for I noticed that a lot of people qualified for BS Chemistry.

Unfortunately, I did not make it. :P Oh well, life goes on! UP is not the only school here! hahaha :) (Pathetic me :P )

    ok lang yan… hahah thanks for the links to the sites… taga-UP ako pero sadly my sis didn’t make it on this year’s UPCAT… ok lang naman. but it’s not always too late to transfer later if you decide that you really want your college life to be in UP… specially if you are aiming for a specialization no other university can offer.

    not all UPCAT passers become successful in UP. Its just that, it’s only an exam that people get crazed about. trust me. hahaha. give it a shot after a year.

    @Russell: I just tried lang naman. UP isn’t my first choice really. Maybe if I plan to take up Masteral, I might as well choose UP.

    haay.. sad to say.. em actually a pending case.. do u think there is STILL great chance that i qualify for UP..? wt do they mean by UPG..they say that our UPG is stil 2 b3 computed..

    @Nikki: If your case is pending better contact the Office of Admissions and submit whatever requirements you failed to submit before the exam date. You need to settle your case before they’ll tell if you qualify for any of their campuses.

    @Nikki… UPG is University predicted grade, non passers will know that from the slip that the office of reg will mail you, along with the break down of your test scores

    @everybody… not passing the UPCAT does not mean that ur dumb, & Russel is ryt, it is JUST a test, passing the UPCAT is really tricky, actually passing is more of like QUALIFYING for the campus and course of ur choice

    @Eyad…if u know ur UPG, u can always apply for other UP campuses, LB, Baguio, manila, ilo-ilo, cebu, etc have a cut-off of 2.7 i think, u can apply if u have a UPG higher than 2.7 ex 2.256, admission depends on the availabilty of slots, u can then transfer to the campus of ur choice after 2 sems if u have BIG grades…(nagyari rin sa akin yan at ito ang mga gnawa ko)

    UP Manila is 2.50
    The cut-off for Diliman wasn’t posted. But it has always been around 2.3.

    I don’t know how you would be able to obtain your UPG if you qualify for any UP Campus.

    yey!I passed! I’ll be in UP Baguio with the course BA Commu…But I guess I could not really make it to UP, considering the fact na masyadong na mahal ang tuition fee rates nito. Tsk tsk. Upians are no longer iskolar ng bayan, i surmise.But with regards to the quality of education, UP would still be on my top list. God bless UP!

    correct ko lang. upm has the highest cut off. next lang ang diliman. trust me, it’s so much true na hindi lahat ng nagaaral sa up ay nagiging successful. to tell u honestly, ang daming sinirang buhay ng skul na yan. ang daming nagtitiyaga nalang sa kursong di naman talaga nila gusto..ung iba nga, engineering nung pumasok, pag labas geography nalang o public ad. un nga lang, it still has the best quality of education..at sobrang 22o naman

    3 yrs ago na nung pumasa ako..well, all i can say at that tym is masaya..pero after that, sobrang hirap na..the difficulty is beyond my expectations..almost everyday ang exams namin..sa totoo lang, masaya pa rin naman, kasi alam ko na da best pa rin ang experience na nakukuha ko sa loob ng university. UP is really the best
