Digital Movie Rentals soon on iTunes

Apple, the computer and gadget maker will be allowing its customer to rent movies from 20th Century Fox on its iTunes Digital Media Store starting mid-January 2008. This was according to a report published in the Financial Times earlier this week.

Apple isn’t the first company to offer digital video rentals. Amazon allows the rental of movies to users of PC and TiVo through is Unbox service. And even Microsoft allows digital media rental on its Microsoft Xbox 360 Game Console.

Apple iTunes Digital Media Store offers video content since 2005. What do you think of these digital video rentals? Will you patronize it when it becomes available to the public?
