Ugly Betty is the award wining American Television series shown on ABC starring America Ferrera, Vanessa Williams and Eric Mabius. The show premiered last September 28, 2006 and with 23 episodes for the first season. The series revolves on the life of Betty Suarez and her life working at a fashion magazine, Mode. This American Television series is a New York City setting adaptation of Yo Soy, Betty la fea, a Colombian telenovela. The episode often shows Betty trying to balance her work, home and love life. The show actually won a couple of awards from Golden Globe and George Foster Peabody Awards. It has been nominated 11 times on the 59th Primetime Emmy Awards. The show’s Season 2 will air starting September 27, 2007.

So why am I writing about Ugly Betty? Nothing. I just started watching this series a couple of days ago. I must say that this television series is good! I enjoyed every episode of it though I only watched a few episodes of the first season. I am currently on episode 14 and don’t ask where am I watching this. Well, if you’d love the movie, Devil Wears Prada you’ll absolutely love Ugly Betty. Almost all the actors and actresses are fit for their roles. I know that the show is quite old but hey, if you haven’t started watching go and try watching the first episode and definitely you’ll get hooked. I’m just lucky because I’ve got the luxury of time to watch the series because our classes was suspended for two straight days because of the typhoon. I just love the rain not because of the suspension of classes. I just love the tranquil and homely mood when it rains.

On the other side, I’ve tried applying for a couple of blog networks to satisfy my urge to write and earn a little. Good thing that my Text Links Ad application got accepted yesterday because I’ve been applying since Summer! I would really love to write for a blog network. I hope that I’ll make it to that blog network. Wish me luck.

EDIT:I am getting tired of my WordPress Theme. I know that this theme was poorly coded by yours truly. I just don’t have the inspiration to whip out a new WordPress theme. I’ve been haunting for a premade theme that would satisfy my taste.
