Blogs and podcasts have been a great part of the “cyberspace”. I know that most people on the cyberspace these days own a blog may it be a blog hosted by WordPress, Friendster, Blogger and others. A blog is a venue wherein people could express their feelings, thoughts, creativity and everything the blogger may want to post on his or her blog. On the other hand, a podcast are for the more technically-inclined because producing a podcast needs certain knowledge on audio editing and other stuff although there are free podcasting sites like Podomatic.

Just recently, I found out that Janette Toral of the Digital Filipino website would be releasing a book about blogs and podcasts called “Blog This: How Blogs Empower Every Internet User”. The book would tackle a lot about blogs and podcasts. One of the topics included on the book is an introduction to podcasting which I think would be very beneficial for those interested on starting a podcast but doesn’t have an idea on where to start. I’m really looking forward on having a copy of Janette Toral’s book entitled “Blog This: How Blogs Empower Every Internet User”. And may this book makes us better bloggers. The book would be released on May 2007 and maybe you could check out the “Blog This!” site for more information regarding the book.
